The Installer will be responsible for the following duties:
For the majority of our installations we use Sikaflex T55 to full surface bond our boards directly to the concrete. Often we install our boards over acoustic matting systems and on rare occasions floors are installed as floating systems.
You will be required to install our stair products onto concrete, timber and onto open spine staircases. All of our floors are finished with a splay beading or pre finished skirting.
All goods are sent out at 7am on the morning the job will commence. We use contract couriers to do all our deliveries. Deliveries need to be met the day of dispatch to help them unload the product into the house. Any excess product is returned to store immediately after installation is complete.
At times you will be required to carry out some floor preparation work. This work could include; . Applying a moisture barrier. . Moisture testing. . Sanding concrete slabs. . Carpet removal . Moving Furniture
It is necessary for job sites to be inspected prior to installation. At times you will be required to visit job sites to make sure that the sub floor is ready for installation. You will be required to check the slab for levels. On completion of every job you will be required to complete and submit an inspection checklist.
With a large number of existing floors installed around Perth, we regularly need to inspect damage done through water etc. You may be required to asses and rectify these floors.
All of our installers are trained in product knowledge because it is not uncommon for you to answer sales enquiries and it is critical that you can answer any questions that the customers ask while you are on site.
All aspects of the job to be carried out as per Bamboozle Systems and Procedures. You will also be required to have a basic understanding of many other aspects of Bamboozle Systems and Procedures and general daily operations.
